Rob Spinfx has been smuggling audio diamonds onto the dance floor since 94’ playing Dnb/Breakbeat/Nu breaks.  He has also been playing Funk and classic Hip hop since the late 90’s.  He’ s regarded by many as Melbourne’s Number One Jungle Selector.  These days Spin specialises in New York style mash-up club sets with influences from Fidget, Dubstep, b-more, Bassline, glitch and Dnb. Joining the dots and delivering a turntablists take on the ultimate club set with jungelists double drop culture shining through.  Spin has lived in New York, London, Byron Bay, Sydney and Hobart. He has promoted under the name FXU producing many seminal Breaks and Dnb parties including BOOMBOX, M*A*S*H*U*P, MESH, DEBASEMENT and TENTICKLE.  Since relocating to Melbourne Spin has held down a monthly set at Melbourne’s institution Revolver doing the LATESHOW with Nick Thayer. Whilst maintaining a residency at the Vic bar, Spin is also at the helm of the successful BOB DEEP, WONKEY AND ANYTHING:TEST nights as well as touring with MC Huwba. He has also been known to head interstate to play Sydney’s RUBY RABBIT as well as HALO Tasmania’s Tech Funk Mecca regularly. Unbelievably Spin still finds the time to hold down a residency at the monster that is SINS ON SUNDAY.
